Soil (2017)
PAST PERFORMANCES
Soil was developed for a performance studies seminar in affect theory and performed on March 20, 2017 by a lagoon in California.
DESCRIPTION
What happens when a play partner becomes absent? How does our relationship to nature (a space that can appear vast, fragile, and enduring) change as we age? This site-specific performance explores these scenarios while also attempting to incorporate sensorial processes (touch, sight, smell, taste, and hearing) in its composition to become more accessible to an audience.
